Christian Journalists and Associates (CJA), formerly known as Media Evangelical Ministry, was founded on November 9, 2013, by Mr. Armstrong Kusi Obuodum, popularly known in the media space as Evangelist Obour Badwenba who is a Ghanaian Pentecostal and Charismatic Evangelist.
Evangelist Obour founded this ministry when God touched him with His saving hand in a period when he had gone far away from God. The holy spirit led him to found Christian Journalists and Associates, which aims to proclaim Christ all over the world.
He received the Holy Spirit baptism on the 16th of February, 2014 at 1:40p.m whiles on his bed in Ahafo Kenyasi in the Asutifi North district of Ghana.
He was joined by Michael Abban, Deacon Joseph Cobbinah and Loretta Tiwaa as active members who joined his faith to raise the ministry. Their shared vision resulted in a one-of-a-kind convergence of media professionals and various practitioners committed to Christian service.
CJA brings together journalists and various professionals including Bankers, Doctors, Nurses, Teachers, Youth Leaders, chiefs, and Clergy. Our membership includes prominent Ghanaian media personalities from media houses including Kessben Media, Multimedia (Adom TV, Adom FM) Media General( TV3, Onua TV ) Pent TV, Angel FM/TV, and others, who work together to proclaim the Gospel and serve communities in need.
CJA's specialized divisions in Education, Healthcare, Charity, Evangelism, and Media Production undertake tailored initiatives that serve both spiritual and practical needs across Ghana. We leverage our members' various experience and media platforms to make a significant difference, expressing Christ's message with professional excellence and compassionate service.
